	Midwifery in China is our oldest tour - our first was back in 1994 - giving midwifery professionals a unique insight into how their profession is practised in China whilst also immersing you in the rich history and culture of this extraordinary nation. A programme of private professional visits to hospitals and clinics across the land will enable you to meet and talk to midwives, therapists, specialists and of course mothers and babies, and to see at first hand the very different conditions and challenges that your professional counterparts face. The tour is also very much a holiday, exploring China's great cities, awe-inspiring historical sites and uplifting landscapes. Equally memorably, you will enjoy many fascinating glimpses of a way of life vastly different from our own, far off the tourist trail. Above all, as we have discovered over the years, a travelling group of fellow-midwives means fun from start to finish and many lasting friendships. The tour is led by a British midwifery professional and our National Chinese Guide Zhang, who has been involved in our Chinese study tours since 1993.
